Miraculous Mirza!. Review on Sania Mirza

She is the wonder woman of India. She took the sport, Tennis to great heights in the country.

She is none other than Sania Mirza. The only Indian female to have won a WTA title. Having carved her way meticulously into the world of tennis, she has finally hit stardom as a tennis star. Even, the famous, Bhupati, Paes never got such recognition as tennis players.

Hailing from a normal, Hyderabadi Muslim family,Sania Mirza has worked very hard at the game. After crossing so many difficulties as a player( I know this, because, I too play tennis),

Sania fought her way into her first grand slam entrance. She went in as, only a wildcard entry, at the Australian Open 2005. This was it. The whole nation took her as the idol of the sport. Many youngsters got inspired by her talent. Many parents, were tempted to put their tiny tots to learn tennis, due to this adolescent girl, Sania.

However, I have been playing tennis for the past 6 years. I have also worked hard at this sport. But, the dedication says it all. I never concentrated hard & took efforts to participate. I am quite sure that Sania Mirza would have played, at least 20 local tournaments, to get this mindset to aim at Grand Slams. The whole nation saw the rankings of this girl increase, sorry, decrease from a 142 to only 42!A hundred places up in only 8 months.
