One of the worst experience anybody would have if they happen to travel by Sangita operated buses.
Not to my surprise, we were asked to wait for 10 mins(repeatedly) until it became 1.5 hours extra, so we boarded the bus at 11:30 PM instead of 10:00 PM.
But for the above to happen, we went from the boarding point to their office thrice to get information on when the bus would actually arrive. I even used foul language on them but to no avail as they might be used to it now.
After boarding the bus(2+1 - Sleeper/Semi-Sleeper), I thought everything is fine. But to my agony, there were lots of mosquitoes almost biting off your legs!
But the worst experience was still to come which I never realized that it would happen in a private bus when all the seats were completely full.
They randomly stopped the bus at least 8-10 times on the way, for picking up goods from stores located on the highways.
And the worst thing they did was to stop at places and pick people who are ready to sit/sleep on the floor of the bus.
The time we reached Hosur was at 7:00 AM and they never changed as they were shouting loud for more people who may want to travel to bangalore from hosur.
Finally, the bus reached Silk Board at 7:45 AM and I politely told the driver that I haven't seen any bus which can drop me off in such a short time of 8 hours.
All I could see is the indifference of the co-passengers to what the bus operators are doing. Had four or five people had joined and fought with the drivers on the unwanted stops, may be it could have held him back. But we(passengers) don’t have the courage to go against such animals.
Even if you don't have any buses to travel and Sangita is the only bus operator, think at least 10 times before you book for their service.
