I bought O2 phone worth Rs. 29800/- from Sangeetha Indiranagar branch, Bangalore during their anniversary sale. I was informed that I can buy the phone with citibank credit card on 0% interest free installment for 12 months. I did the same. But when I got my first credit card statement, I was shocked to see that I was charged 18% interest rate. I did go to sangeetha Indiranagar branch twice and met Venkatesh who seems to be the Manager of indiranagar branch.


Instead of resolving the issue.he mentioned that someone named Harish from Sangeetha's Head office will take care of the same & gave me his cell no. I have spoken to harish 3-4 times who initially blamed Citibank that its their fault wherein Citibank also got involved & I could speak to Ali from Citibank.who inturn explained to me that it was a false promise made by Sangeetha. I spoke to Harish again who AGREED that its a mistake from Sangeetha & informed me that he needs to speak to Subhash Reddy(MD of Sangeetha Mobile) on the approval of money.


I have been getting false promises from Harish & he asks me to call him up every half an hour. The situation has become so worse that he has stopped picking up my call. And Customer care(Vani-Representative) has informed me that they are helpless, though customer care also agreed that its a mistake from Sangeetha. I have the recorded call with Harish & Customer care who agreed that its the mistake from Sangeetha.


They gave me their office contact no.(080-26607993) wherein the receptionist is not transferring the call to Subhash Reddy. I literally called up 5 times on saturday(1st Sep 2007). I am literally getting harassed by Sangeetha. I have received the worst service by Sangeetha. As per what Sangeetha had promised, I am paying the money on 0% to Citibank. Now I am getting troubled by citibank as well because I am not paying the full amount. And they are putting interest charges on my account which now also needs to be paid by Sangeetha. The more things get delayed the financial burden on Sangeetha will increase which I explained to Harish & he said that its a delay from their MD, Subhash Reddy side.


I was promised by Harish that my issue will get resolved on 31st Aug 2007. And the entire day he didnt pick up my call. Vani from Customer care spoke to Harish and Harish informed to customer care that its Sangeetha's fault and he will call me in 10 min. His 10 min are still not over. Moreover, he is not picking up my calls as well. My ultimate resort would be to go to Consumer court. I have already scanned the copy of my bill & newspaper advertisement and sent it across to citibank & Harish. I have provided the same to Venkatesh & their MD Subhash Reddy as well. Can someone tell me where is the consumer court in Bangalore.
