Sandisk Sansa is a good value for money.
Avaliable in 256 MB, 512 MB and 1GB capacity , I would suggest that buy the 1 GB player.
1 GB player gives you the flexibility to increase the storage capacity to an additional 2 GB ( SD card).
I recently bought a 1 GB player. It is excellent player, sound quality is really good and especially the earplugs which I got with the player are amazing. In case if your need is a simple, lightweight, good quality player then this is the one which you should buy.
It uses a AAA battery, so preferably buy a rechargable battery along with the player.
The player is very light weight and thus is easy to carry.
It has a built-in fm radio.
If you are looking for a player with not very huge capacity (less than 3 GB) then this is the best deal you will get.
I have bought a 1 GB player from Malaysia , there I got the player for roughly 4000 INR.
