I am writing this review on the samsung YP-T9 Mp3 player. I was wanting to purchase an mp3 player for myself to be connected to my home theater system at home. However connecting laptop to the home theater was a pain every time I wanted to listen to the songs. My first choice was an Apple iPod just because of its branding and now a days its being treated as the style accesory amongst youths. However before going for one I really wanted to do my bit of research and then wanted to go for it. Then one day I came across one of my fnd who was using Samsung YP-K3 which was sleek and light as well claimed a battery life of 25 hrs, with touch screen to shuffle between functions. I really like the Mp3 and wanted to explore all samsung mp3 players, and zeroed down to YP-T9, which was loaded with the features, it has mp3 player with mp4, as well had FM player in it. Now lets drill down to the Pros and Cons of the product:
*Pros:
They are endless trust me, when I heard it for the first time the clarity of sound simply masmarised me, and the kinda beats and bass effect it gave it was awsm, just to check the sound quality I compared it with the Ipod shuffle, and trust me when I say Ipod was no where to be compared with this beauty. Samsung YP-T9 kicks the Ipod in the butts as its loaded with the features and also the sound quality is just awsome!! I shall tell you its features which are really mind blowing Gloss black slimline design, 4Gb flash memory capacity which is massive, Video , MP3 , Gaming , Voice Recorder , FM Tuner , Clock , Photoviewer all in one compact unit, 1.82 inch colour TFT LCD screen which rocks as well, 176 x 220 screen resolution, Lithium Polymer battery delivering 30 hours of audio playback and 6 hours video playback and I dont understand any Ipod or any other Mp3 player can stand this long in terms of the battery life, MP3 WMA JPEG MPEG4 SWF (games and UI) OGG (which is famous these days among sharewares) compatible, one of the imp advantage I can point out on this mp3 player is that it supports OGG format files, which no other player is supporting till now. 8 Preset EQ, FM encoding, Music management includes mobile playlist , PC Playlist , Library, Photoviewer , Thumbnail display , Album Art display , Text viewer , 3 PreLoaded games , Wallpaper including clock , Clock, Multi language support , WMA DRM , Janus , USB 1.1 and USB 2.0 support , EP370 type earphone supplied in box , USB cable Installation CD, the list is simply end less.
Trust me the list of its features is endless, now I shall tel you another good feature of this Mp3 which made me purchase this player is that even if you unplug the headfones from it while playing FM, the FM keeps on playing and doesn't give any sort of error message unlike mobiles phones which uses headphones as the antennae. This makes this player compatible with the home speaker system to not even player stored songs but also play the FM.
Cons:None that I have come across till now.
These are my personal observations about the product over the period of ownership of this product.
