Good Product, Worst Support & Service. Review on Samsung UA55C7000WR

Hey all, So I decided to invest into a 55" 3D LED TV(UA55C7000WR) and 3D Bluray player(C6900) from Samsung. Here is a brief review of the product, its more cons than pros mainly due to after sales service.

LED Product Pros:1. Gr8 Picture Clarity2. Slim wall mount3. Surround Sound only for HD channels

LED Product Cons:1. Sound output is very low for regular DTH services. You will need an AMP and surround speakers if you want to watch regular channels. Bluray and HD channels are good in terms of volume, surround sound and clarity

1. HD channels stutter at times, so no guarantee that you will have smooth picture on TV3. 2d to 3d conversion is OK4. Lack of 3D blueray titles in India, so the 3D is really of no use

   
   




2. hard to reach wire sockets on TV once the tv is wall mounted. so you will need help to dismount tv from the wall if you want to change any wire settings. Better to plan your AMP and other device integration during installation

   
   

SERVICE.1. WHAT SERVICE? WHAT SUPPORT? SAMSUNG has no customer support.

1. I have been calling Samsung customer support for 10 days to help me configure the bluray player. They promise that the technical person will call, but this technical person is a ghost or a myth. After 2 weeks of waiting and waiting, this guy calls sets and appointment, only to not show up, I had to run from office just for this. My problems remain unfixed.

   
   




2. STAY AWAY FROM SAMSUNG PRODUCTS, if you think you will need support, after sales service and the whole 9 yards.
