After using this phone for 1 month, here're my observations:

PROS:

(1) Awesome looks: Touch & feel the phone before buying - you'll love it. There is no phone at this price which looks better than (or even close to) this phone.

(2) Light weight: Much lighter than i-phone.

(3) Brilliant display: Very bright and cystal clear

(4) Good touchscreen: It is resistive touchscreen - not the high-end capacitive type (used in i-phone, LG Arena etc) - but you can not expect capacitive touchscreen at Rs 9000. That means you have to slightly press the screen - but you would get used to it in 30 mins.

(5) Awesome handwriting recognition: Write on the screen with your fingers (no stylus required!) and the phone recognizes it correctly. Again, would require getting used to putting the right amount of pressure (30 mins).

(6) Good Accelerometer: Rotate the phone while viewing pictures / browsing internet - alignment is changed automatically. Keep the phone slanted while viewing pictures - it would automatically scroll pictures, as if they are falling. Change the holding angle - it will scroll in the opposite direction - really cool feature.

(7) Good in-call voice quality: Speaker phone is great - call clarity is good.

(8) Good battery life: I talk for max 30 mins a day. Phone needs charging after 4 days.

(9) Full support for POP and IMAP email: Configured my office emails - no issues in sending / receiving.

(10) Document viewer is a plus. No editing - but you can read Word, Excel, Power point, Adobe docs.

(11) Good camera & in-built photo editing features: Remember, no flash - night phots are not that great.

CONS:

(1) Samsung PC Suite behaves weird: Could not transfer my phonebook entries from my office laptop (XP, Office 2000) using PC Suite in spite of multiple attempts. Transfer happened easliy from my home laptop (Vista, Office 2007).

(2) Phone hanged / shut down automatically nearly 10 times in the first 4 days of purchase. Was really frustrated during that time and severely repented my purchase as I was out of town and needed constant connectivity. Luckily that problem has not occurred even a single time in the last 25 days (touch wood!)

(3) Sound quality from music player is poor compared to Sony Ericsson Walkman phones. Headphone provided is quite basic.
