I bought the Samsung Slim for two considerations, price and the phone book. 2 years hence, I still have the original battery and the key-pads have kept up even with my hectic usage.
Sadly, its time to upgrade and still would love to keep this phone for all those unforseen circumstances that it can becaome a backup set.
It has many a features that I still love and do not find otherwise. The size is just right. and it slips into the tightest of the jeans. Sound quality is good but a loudspeaker is sorely missed. This phone had just 2 software updates and as such, I can safely say that Samsung itself gave up on their product. The non-antenna shape is a boon and the size fits well.
I average about 4000 rupees worth of billing every month and can definitely vouch for iits stability and hardiness to withstand all the sweat grime and occassionally being dropped.
No r-world and other modern amneties make it a relic for today but yes, I am proud of my ownership of the SAMSUNG SLIM. Thanks Samsung !!
I would have strongly recommended the product or a later incarnation of the same.
