I bought a samsung refrigerator (250 Ltr) around 3 months back for Rs. 14500/- (location Mumbai). It is supposed to come with one year guarantee and six year warranty on compressor. The machine has not given me any technical problems till now.
But their service has been a pain in the a** (sorry for the unparliamentary words, I am using this word out of frustration). A crack in the door panel was detected soon after the delivery (1 hr, to be precise) of the refrigerator and their service person reccomended for replacement of the door. They are yet to replace the same even after three months. I have already made 'n' number of phone calls to their complaint cell and 4-5 visits to the dealer from where I purchased. According to samsung, my file is pending in Delhi for last two months.. :) :)
So go for a samsung refregerator with a clear understanding that you are not going get any after sales service. Hope this information is helpful..
