Excellent phone
Good sound quality and organizer memory.
I bought it in Aug 2002 and it has functioned without any problems from then onwards.
It has good safety features. It has phone lock, sim lock and pin lock facility. Phone lock enables you lock your phone so that when switched off nobody can use the phone, even if they insert their own sim card. Sim lock enables non-replacement of your sim by another sim in the phone so making it virtually impossible for the thief to use the phone by replacing your sim card.
The phone has fallen three to four times since purchase but that has not affected its performance. I did not need any repairs also.
However off late it has become outdated. It also does not allows picture logos. Neither does it supports MMS (multimedia messaging). It does not have colour screen which is in vogue now. As a result the company has significantly reduced its price. It is now available for Rs 6000 now whereas when I bought it, it was priced at Rs 9999.
It uses Nokia's software and is as easy to use as a nokia. Only the screen display is a little different.
The only problem with the phone is its charger. After a year or some, because of its design it stops working on normal switch points. You have to jiggle a lot to make it work.
