I purchased Samsung BLK Caviar Refrigerator from Reliance Retail Limited. The Refrigerator was dented but the installation team from Reliance never pointed this out.
We were informed at the time of purchase that ResQ is responsible for installation and maintenance of the product during the first year.
The product started malfunctioning in the first week itself, switching off and on on its own, complaints filed again and again to both Reliance and Samsung but of no avail.
No Customer Service Report was every provided and both Reliance and Samsung kept on passing the responsibility on the other.
On writing to top management, a response was received from Reliance that mailing the top management is legally inappropriate and since there is no technical defect in the product, replace or refund is denied by the Brand and they never even visit to remove defects.
At the time of Purchase ResQ offered to pay for extended warranty which was more than 5 times the price for what was offered by the Brand and inspite of opting for Extended Warranty with the Brand, no one cares about the products, complaints are closed both by ResQ and the Brand automatically at the backend without visiting or rectifying the products and we are forced to live with a defective product which switches off and on, at its own whims and fancies.
