Just bought a Samsung side by side refrigerator RS21HSTPN a week ago from Chroma Store. Not been provided product demo or installation help by the company for more than a week. Finally someone on behalf of Samsung came, remember they have out sourced the service calls to local dealers who have no customer service knowledge or intent, resolved the demo without even providing one.On re-registering the demo request with Chroma again, the service representative on being told to come for demo after 7:00 pm called and said they only work till 4:00 pm, the consumer needs to leave office early to get the demo, turned up at 4:00 pm and refused to give demo for a ridiculous reason that I do not have the photocopy of the bill.
On my request to note down the invoice number instead of photocopy just refused and left. I seriously doubt the product quality of samsung as a week old refrigerator that costed me 65 K, is not maintaining the temperature, sweating and a lot of humming sound. Also has bad odor. Samsung may be good in phones but they have side tracked their consumer electronic business it seems and does not care about consumer request and shy away from facing the consumers.
So think twice before you buy samsung products as you will not get the service support at all. Persons who I have recited my case by this time is Vivek, Supervisor, Samsung call center, Yogesh, Service Contractor, Maa Durga Electronics(the company that provides service on behalf of samsung in Faridabad) and a number of times to samsung call center (they can check the logs of call as when you call the call center they tell you that they are recording the call for improving service standards).
Just received the call from samsung call center located in Noida and to my surprise instead of simple demo the call center has service complaint registered with them as "repair of refrigerator" which I did not get registered at all, remember I bought the refrigerator a week ago on November 10th 2012. Judge for yourself if you still want to buy a Samsung product!!!!
