In this era of technology this kind of box TV is way too behind to fulfill the present requirements but as per my experience I feel it as a value for money product of its time because it was the first tv in my home and is also uptil now. It has rf and av inputs for connecting additional devices and because of this I was able to experience the enjoyment of playing video games which were very exciting. It has a standard definition display not like HD display but still delivers crisp, clear pictures and vibrant sound through the built in stereo speakers.
It has auto tuner for easy setup and an easy to use remote control. The set does lack an s-video output which baffled as my other television set but I found a quick fix that was to purchase a s-video to rca cable, which allowed me to connect other devices such as laptop for viewing my video files stored in the device.
The television just got repairing service for three times within a span of ten years and still counting and this clearly indicates that this is a value for money product.
