Before the purchase I was looking for many brands and HP was one of the top notch experts recommended me. So I selected one HP and this one and took a final call for this one. On various website this had various price points and some sellers push old stocks at lower price point.
This printer has many models and this one I got was Network Duplex India ND/XIP version which does not have a numeric keypad as opposed to FD version, so the image here is wrong and needs to be updated. There is a firmware update that you can update over web. The mobile print option is also cool and helps a lot.
The Pros:
(a) The imaging and toner are separate.
(b) Duplexing at ease.
(c) Supports scan to WSD
(d) Ethernet Networking.
(f) 400W low power consumption.
(g) Crisp print and scan output.
(h) Ecomode saves toner expenses.
(i) Embedded web server in admin mode has good functions.
(j) 128MB ram make spooling over network easy.
The cons
(a) No Backlit LCD
(b) No Link lights in RJ45 connector.
(c) Cartridges are expensive.
(d) LCD is 2 line and limited functionality.
(e) After firmware update to Feb15 version, only genuine cartridges are accepted no compatibles.
