Samsung on a whole is a big brand and probably the best in the field of electronics. I have with its 32”LED Television. It has a USB port, HDMI and other ports to connect to external audio or PC devices. But after spending so much money, I find it a little difficult to digest that the sound port of this television is embedded in the motherboard and hence any damage to the port means replacing the entire mother board which costs about Rs. 2000./- and the consulting and service charges added extra. I had problem with the audio port which is behind the screen along with the video ports that are connected with the set top box. I ended up damaging up the audio port. Hence, called the service agent only to know that it would cost around 3000 including all. It is the same technology across all the latest LED and other items of various brands. Anyhow, the sound quality without the woofer system is very very ordinary and can’t be heard properly in a room of 150-175 Sq. Feet. Picture wise just awesome. Best in class. One disadvantage or I should say the designing defect is that the USB port is placed right behind the screen and not on the sides and it makes it difficult to access and also if your mounting on wall, then you have to give some serious exercise to your neck by peeking around back and trying to put the USB. It is a design defect and not expected from a brand like Samsung. Sound quality as I said very poor. Yes, the prices for Samsung products are always on a higher side, but then it is fine if you are getting a product worth it. Over all am ok with the price and prefer to go for a brand when it comes to electronics segment and something that am gonna have to spend above 30, 000. The customer service and support is excellent because no matter what they would charge you for a visit no matter if the technician solve your problem or not. Yes, in case of warranty, you might not pay for the gone parts.
Over all I would rate it 7/10 on quality. Sound quality would be 3/10, Customer Service 7/10, value for money 6.5/10.
