Its a best buy, Go for it!!!. Review on Samsung LA32R81B

Its been a month since we bought Samsung series 4 LCD TV 40", and as the first impression is the last impression, I still love the looks of the LCD, it beats LG, Sony and Panasonic in looks easily.

The best part is that it is cheaper than Sony and still better than sony as my Uncle had recently bought Sony Bravia 40" and they insisted us on buying Samsung as they already were having Sony and said that Samsung has better alround Score( In looks, Picture clarity, and everything)

Now coming on to technical part.

Picture Quality: Well, with Dynamic Contrast Ratio30, 000:, picture quality is just about perfect. Though we are using DTH service which is Tata Sky, so the picture output is awesome.

Sound: You cant expect surround sound, 5.1 Channel, or a 1000W pmpo with an LCD Tv, so you have o compromise on this, though I am looking to buy a Home Theater( and that would be Sony, not samsung because Sony Rocckkks in Sound blast)

The only thing that it is missing and where sony score is the USB slot, but who cares when you can have USB inbuilt DVD home theater;).

We have not used the Remote much as we have Tata Sky but still, it looks great!

Menu is Easy, The response time is good, but as we dont need it, so not an issue.

Looks: Looks are definitely the best part of this Lcd, the round shaped bottom, the sleek design, the glossy finish on the lower part, it takes your breath away when you have a close look at it.

I am a big time fan of movies, but I hate to watch movies @ home on TV, but on a 40" giant(as we had 29" TV earlier) its not less than a Giant screen, and when you turn off your room lights, the screen appears even bigger!

Now the competitors, LG scarllett, Hmmm. only sound but I must say that never choose LG as your appliance, you'll regrett it big time, the 29" TV that we had, was ok. The other LG product we have is the microwave, but that is one of the better and in fact a great appliance from LG, but apart from that, LG isn't a good buy.

10/10 on Looks

9.5/10 on Picture Quality

8/10 on Sound

All in all, it is a best buy if you are looking for a good LCD, and if sony is too costly as it is 77Grands(40") and Samsung is 66 Grands, I personaly wanted to go for Sony, but as my uncle suggested( as he was already using Sony for about 2-3 months), so I changed my mind and believe me, I am not regretting it!
