I Have Samsung GTS6102 DUOS. Within few months of use the speaker conked off and I stated missing important words in a conversation. Not much difference from headphone.(But I cant use HP all the time ) A crackling appeared on hearing. On pressing the phone to hear better, it would touch the end icon and end it all together creating irritation to both caller and listener.
I got it repaired under warranty from a authorized Service centre but the fault persisted. After the repair after few hours the SD card got tanked and I lost all my important data and invaluable memories by way of photos from it. I replaced it with Sandisk as the dealer said the SD card of Samsung is not reliable, of course I gave him my piece of mind why he could no have told me so, while purchase a few months back.
After this incident I have a few readings. 1 The authorized service cetre is always full of people with complaints in Mumbi. 2. Service is nev renderd by next day. 3. After service all data is lost. One out of 2 samsung phones have speaker problem. I had Nokia 6103 a model comparable to this one. It had much better camera zooming and quality. For eg the contrast sharpness and color were better. It was more hardy. I regret changing over to Samsung.
