My sincere and kind advise to each one here is to read my experience below before buying any Samsung phones.

I bought a Samsung Galaxy S5 Phone when it's launched in Apr 2014 for Rs. 51, 500.00

Within 45 days the S5's price dropped to Rs.36, 500 as an insult to the customers who bought just 45 days back for a higher price.

Rubbing salt to wounds, 4G technology was not built for the S5 phones at launch whereas it was available in the cheaper S5 phones that came within 2 months after launch again mocking the customers who bought earlier for a higher price.

When I bought my S5, I was advised by Samsung Salesman to buy a S Window protective casing for my new S5 Phone and I bought it for Rs. 3000.00

In Oct 2014, ( 6 months from purchase) I accidentally dropped my phone in the floor, and the S window protective casing did nothing to save my mobile. The camera protective glass was broken and my phone was dented in the sides. I took it to a Samsung Service Centre and spent Rs. 14, 800.00 to change the Camera, Side Panel and Display.

After this service, the new camera installed by Samsung's own Service Centre was not as good as the original one and most often than not the pictures were blurred. In addition, the Burst Shots never came perfect like it used to be before.

Then in Nov 2015, the display started showing some mild white lines and in the next couple of months the lines increased to an extend where the display is hardly visible.

I took the phone again to Samsung customer care. You know what? Apart from erasing all the contents( Contacts, Messages, App data) in my phone by mistake by doing a Factory Reset, they requested me to spent Rs. 12, 500.00 to change the display again!

I was fed up and escalated my situation to Samsung Head Office and a person by name Anubhav from Samsung Corporate Office called me. I explained and he heard the whole story and you know what? he was talking to me just like Mr. Arnab Goswami of Times Now' making me further regret my decision to buy Samsung. He sent one person to my home to collect my phone, checked it and told the same thing after two days that I have to spent 12K to change the display!

I even requested him if a win-win situation( discounted rate or any other spare displays they may have for a lesser price etc) can be worked out given that I have already spent close to 70K on this phone.

He said, "that's your problem and Samsung can't do anything about it"

I am offended by the way I was treated and my whole experience with Samsung right from purchase, service and customer care has been extremely frustrating and pathetic to say the least.

In addition, I had to change my Samsung original chargers twice in the last 18 months. So that is another Rs.1200.00 in the long list of expenses with this phone.

Now I leave it to your good judgement if you really want to buy Products from a company which has no regard for their customers and poor quality and service.
