WOW.Samsung whoever it was that gave you these very stupid ideas should be punched, hard, right in the eye and fired. Don't rely on stupid focus groups and a vocal few who have little or no idea what makes a good phone. Do your own leg work on the Internet next time and ignore anyone who speaks about anything other than what counts. Esthetics are for loser phones like apple who think that they are as important as performance. Samsung, esthetics should always be seen more as after thoughts than ever be considered "features". It disappointed me that Ms Dolcourts review mentioned only esthetics as THE GOOD about this phone, that's just a travesty on so many different levels.
No sd card.NO SD CARD!? Really Samsung, the big change, the big update was actually a big downgrade? I have been racking my brain trying to get my head around this. You guys take a feature that had been paraded in MILLIONS of reviews as one of the most important deciding factors and then decide to remove it.
I am just left speachless. So you decide to alienate a large portion of your loyal fan base. The power users who have nearly cut the cord on their home computers in favor of Samsung powerhouse phones are going to or will come to hate it. The anti-cloud faction that has been growing every year because, let's face it, anything in the cloud is NOT as safe and private as everyone has been led to believe, I need only point you to the US government and rest my case there, no need to point out countless other breaches, is going to despise you for it. . The hardcore heavy media using data hungry crowd will literally fall to their knees hands on head in tears as they watch their plans data limit being filled many times faster than when the sd card was the darling of Samsung. Great job Samsung. Way to go fumbling the ball in the red zone.
Then there is the battery! The NONREMOVABLE BATTERY! It's crazy. Samsung you took the 2nd worst thing about the iPhone besides the 1st, no sd card, and adopted it for your phone. It's so insane I want to run down the street pulling my hair out and yelling at trashcans! Even apple users have for YEARS been complaining about the battery in the iPhone and you decide to follow suit. I am sorry I just had to say it again it is so inane. So let's see here. Even the average user burns through most batteries total charge cycles in less than a year. After that the batteries suffer a slow decline in usable charge till they become useless. Unless of course you have solved the great battery issues all by your lonesome selves and have offered us users a solution which I highly doubt. What can power users and media maniacs expect. Well they can expect a battery that is near it's end within a year or so. Then what? A$100+ fee to have the battery replaced and be without your phone for several or more days. That is just brilliant and a slap in the face to your loyal fan base who have stuck by you through thick and thin like rabid and loyal guard dogs.
I could point out alot more Samsung but my guard dog loyalty is being tested and.well.I feel more than a little let down.
My prediction.the galaxy s6 will be the first flop in a long line of brilliant Samsung successes. Folks if you really want one badly I suggest you wait 3 or 4 months. This phone has a destiny. It's destiny is to become a provider freebie for new subscribers and prolly a free upgrade for current subscribers. Samsung and the providers will find they have warehouses filled with expensive bricks and will be desperate to unload them. So folks hold out and save your money. Money is hard enough to earn now days and throwing down that kind of money on this money grab downgrade just does not make fiscal sense.
