Oneplus2 and Samsung galaxy S5 are two flagship smartphones by their respective companies. The reason I have posted this review is because as on this date( 31st Oct) these two phones are priced at approximately the same price range.( s5-22k and oneplus2-25k) . On the basis of my personal research, I have jotted down some major differences which might help you in selecting the right phone for you. I have had a hands-on with both these phones, hence the review.
>Starting from the processor, 1.9GHz Adonis Octacore performs equally well as the 1.8GHz Snapdragon Octacore as on oneplus2.
>Camera on oneplus2 was good but not as good as that on the s5. The auto focus of oneplus2 didn't work well in low-light conditions. in daylight, it was much better. However it still couldn't compete with the s5. Video recording at 4k res. in both the smartphones.
>Both of them will be getting a Marshmallow for sure.( Samsung recently confirmed the marshmallow update for s5.)
> Features like nfc, wifi-direct, infrared( remote control), heart rate sensor and barometer missing in oneplus2. Thats a bummer: /
>Battery backup of s5 is better even though oneplus2 has a higher capacity battery. Why? The 4k display and that too a larger lcd display of oneplus2! Its that power consuming.
>For the respective size in which these phones come, oneplus2 is heavy, noticeably heavyI felt it as soon as I got hold of the phone.
> AMOLED, an LED display with 432ppi on s5 is way too good compared to the 401ppi IPS LCD display on oneplus2.AMOLED display is way way better. I can bet you on this, anytime. Moreover, in outdoors the oneplus2 lacks good visibility even at its highest brightness. Surprisingly.
On addition to these differences, s5 is a more premium, reliable and a light weight smartphone which is anytime a better buy at 22k. Moreover you have an advantage of the after-service samsung provides, which can never be better than that of oneplus. Getting your phone repaired is much easier. Both these phones come with bloatware which is not an issue as they can be disabled. Make your choice wisely.
