I bought a Samsung S2 in February this year for Rs 29, 500 (my costliest phone ever). Since that day, I have only regretted my decision to have spent such a huge amount on a smart phone that only gave me problems. I bought this phone because of its attractive looks, big screen and a few other good things my friends told me. But the visits to samsung service center to fix its problems have really irked me to the core.

At first, my phone had weird vertical lines all over the screen which looked out of the place. I immediately went to the samsung  service center and they said that a few handsets were giving this problems and they promptly sanctioned a replacement. But this was annoying because I lost out on all my apps that I downloading with the excitement of the new phone, the scratch guard that I put on spending Rs600 and other stuff that I syncd with the phone.

Still I have happy to have got a new phone and that Samsung took up the matter seriously and were prompt enough to sanction a replacement. Two months later my camera was giving a hazy picture and I was shocked to see that the lens had a layer of white substance on it from inside. I went back to the service center and they promptly opened up the phone and cleaned it up. A week later, the dust was back and I had to visit the service center again. This time, the manager (at the Borivali east service center) said that he is putting a packing around the camera so that the dust does not enter again. I was really amazed why a phone which has no entry points had dust all over its camera.

Just when I was recovering from the camera problems, the head phone that came along with the phone stopped working. But I assumed that they don’t have any kind of servicing on the accessories so I dint go to the center though I wanted to go and fight till I dropped dead.

And now I have realized that the camera is completely faulty as it is giving extremely unclear pictures. I compared the quality of pictures with two other S2 phone (my friends own) and realized that my camera was extremely bad. Went back to the service center and they told me that the camera is faulty and needs to be replaced. I was shivering with anger but I just walked out of the center because I dint have a spare phone to use. I could not give them the phone for camera replacement nor I could fight for a completely new phone.

I have no words to express my anger. I don’t know if I am buying a samsung ever again or recommending anyone to do so. Also, I had really started liking the display, screen size and the interface of the phone. All these other issues just marred the good feelings.
