Having glass on front and back also means the Note 7 is more fragile than phones with metal backs like the iPhone or HTC 10 or OnePlus 3. There are already several reports of people saying their phone suffered a cracked while inside a bag or pocket. Also, the curved screen looks amazing, yes, but it doesn’t add much to practical use. Samsung’s built-in “edge” features ( you can swipe in from a designated area of the edge to bring up app shortcuts or see you calendar) are mostly redundant, and the screen’s curvature also makes it more likely to crack from pressure or drops. I also can’t really tell the difference between the Note 7's Quad HD display and the OnePlus 3's “lesser” 1080p display, and I doubt most people can either. The fact is the difference in resolution only matters on larger screens. When you’re talking about a display that’s under 6-inches, the human eye can’t tell the difference between 500 pixels-per-inch or 400 pixels-per-inch.
