Though I am sharing my experiences with my new mobile phone M31 but this post is an overall disappointment with Samsung and I have finally decided not to buy any Samsung product further.
I have brought most of products from either Samsung or apple. Let me talk of mytwo mobile devices Samsung galaxy note 10.1 (2014 edition) and Samsung M31 which were utter disappointment. Not to mention I have Samsung curved 50 inch TV ( from USA in 2017) which got lcd line within 6 months and terrible partial functionality remote.
All of the Samsung product don’t stand test of time and quality.
Coming to M31. I look for very basic features which should work perfect at all times. It’s only 1 and half month and receiver speaker stopped working after update. Though after reboot it started working. But I don’t expect this if I am a layman I don’t want to do circus with my phone to keep it working normally. Few days back it was resetting intermittently showing Samsung logo and frozen screen. Calling to service center were of not much use. Samsung has only one solution restart/Reset and ultimate Factory Reset if it doesn’t get solved then trust in god. What nonsense solution is this. I have been using iphone from last 8 years ( multiple models). But I never faced issues with basic features. Hanging is probably default feature of most android devices so I will not put the blame on Samsung.
Samsung advertises M31 with 64 MP camera. I am not sure how Samsung defines mega pixels. M31 camera though not so bad but surely doesn’t look like 64 or even 16MP.
Battery is good and will last for a day wth heavy usage.
My verdict don’t buy any Samsung product. Samsung is in a hurry to keep launching series of models and products but in a hurry they release all untested products in the market. They have no clue how customers use a product and what is desirable. May be in 90 and early 2000 Samsung had quality product but now it is just junk
