Hey Guys I bought this phone in December for one of my family members. It costed around 8.5k along with a flip cover that came with the phone. The delivery was swift and I got it in 3 days via an online shopping site. The phone comes in a beautiful gold color.

This color looks very good and the in hand feel is awesome. The curved design is similar to all the other phones of the j series with curved edges. I have also used the samsung galaxy j7 but this one just feels better in the hand because of the back texture of the device. Just for your information it is not a leather back it is just plastic. In the box you also get a charger and headphones( the same old samsung white one I prefer a third party headphones).

The phone has a decent 4.7 inches screen that is a super AMOLED display with a pixel resolution of 964 x 540 pixels. Personally I feel that this new screen quality makes sun readiability very easy. THE BIGGEST PROBLEM is that it does not have an ambident light sensor that is really bad because you have to manually adjust the screen brightness outside. Even though there is an outdoor mode option that increases the brightness for 15 minutes or until the screen is turned off. But I feel that without light sensor it just makes using the phone more difficult.

Now something about the camera. The camera on this device is one of the biggest con. The back camera is just 5 mega pixel auto focus camera with single LED flash. Daylight shots are decent enough but still appear to be a bit dark. I have used other Lumia devices, like Lumia 520 with 5 mega pixel back camera but they have better day light images. The phone also does not have HDR mode. The front camera is 2 mega pixel and the shots are not good your selfies look very bad. The front camera supports only vga video recording.

The battery is 2000 mah that is more than many premium devices. It lasts a typical day with a complete morning charge with about 20% left at the night.

The phone has 1 gb of ram out of which about 400 mb of ram is free with default apps running in the background.Out of 8 gb internal memory you get about 4.5 gb and it also supports an sd card so storage is not a problem.

It is a dual sim device with 4g support for both, but you can enable 4G only in one SIM at a time, while the other goes to 2G this does not caused any major problem because not many sims have 4g support in India now. It also has USB on-the-go support. The ultra data saving is very good option when you are trying to save some data on browsing.

The 1.3GHz quad-core Exynos 3475 28nm processor offers average performance. The device does not show any appreciable lag in the beginning but once you start storing apps it lags a bit.

AT the end I would like to say that the phone is just decent for the price range and you can get better phones in this price range with much better camera.
