The Samsung Galaxy Beam has launched in India today, for a price tag of Rs 33, 900.

The projector phone has a 15 lumen pico projector built-in and features Android 2.3 Gingerbread on a dual core 1Ghz processor, with a 4 Inch WVGA display and 8 GB of internal memory. The projector can project a HD image of about 50 inches wide.

Samsung Electronics, a global leader in digital media and digital convergence technologies, today announced the launch of Samsung GALAXY Beam projector smartphone in India. The smartphone will enable the users to display and share multimedia content anywhere on a large luminous projector screen or on a clear wall(surface).

GALAXY Beam’s ultra-bright 15 lumens projector and high-definition projection up to 50’’ wide at a distance of 2 meter, allows users to freely share their memorable moments instantly with crisp clarity. The 5 mega pixel camera enables users to capture and share pictures and videos with loved ones instantly, enriching the sharing experience.
