Galaxy A8 is a mid range smartphone with 16MP camera at the back which you might think that it is same camera as on Note5/S6 but thats not the case, its not as good as that on N5/S6. Well its a very good camera that samsung is offering at this price range. Coming to its processor, its a Snapdragon 615 octa (4x1.8 GHz Cortex-A53 & 4x1.3 GHz Cortex-A53) which is overall a decent processor but considering its price there should be atleast snapdragon 650 which is present on very cheeper Redmi note 3. Looks wise, it is very goodlooking phone but there is plastic at the back which is not feels premium.
This phone is powered by 3080 MAH battery which gives a decent battery life. There is a touch based fingerprint scanner which is very fast but not the fastest I have seen on a smartphone.
If you are looking to buy it then wait a min. there is 2 alternate phones available 1.Galaxy A5 2016 and 2. Galaxy A7 2016 both the phones cames approx same price range but with upgraded hardware and software
