Samsung Galaxy A8 is a premium smartphone by Samsung in the Rs. 30000 range.
It comes with superb design, which is extremely slim. With a powerful processor, speed will never be an issue.
One of the pros and cons of the phone is the huge screen size(5.7 inches) – depends upon how you look at it. A large screen gives a superb viewing experience. But, it may not fit into small pockets. The phone protruding out of the pocket can be a hindrance while travelling in crowded places like Mumbai locals.
One of the limitations of the phone is that the second Sim Slot doubles up as the slot for the Memory Card. This means you can either use it as a dual SIM phone or as a Single Sim phone with Memory Card. But, with a 32 GB Internal memory, it may not be that big a problem for the majority. Another way to look at it is that after shelling out 30000 bucks, making that compromise is not really worth it.
Though it is a superb phone, shelling that amount may not be worth it. In terms of Value for Money, it may be a little over-priced given its features. Maybe around Rs. 25, 000…close your eyes and buy!
