The another Samsung budget flagship, The Samsung Galaxy A8+ 2018 is launched in India today at an event in New Delhi.
The Phone comes with some amazing cool features which gives a tough competition on other smartphones on the same price range.
DISPLAY
The Galaxy A8+ comes with an 6 inches FHD+ Super AMOLED display which is an Infinity display with 18:5:9 aspect ratio which is going to impress the users.
PROCESSOR
The Galaxy A8+ comes with samsung's own Exynos 7885 octa core chipset with 2 cores clocked at 1.6GHz and 6 cores at 2.2GHz.
This is similar to that of Galaxy A7 2018.
RAM, ROM & Software
The A8+ comes with 6 GB of Ram which is enough but 64GB of storage, which nowadays, is not enough. But the storage is expandable upto 256GB via SD card.
The A8+ comes with Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box which is quiet depressing but it will get a guaranteed update to android 8.0 .
BATTERY
The Device comes with 3500 mAh of batter which can be charged by a type-C port with fast charging support.
CAMERA
Being a Huge Pros of this phone, The A8+ comes with a 16MP rear shooter with f/1.7 lens which can click amazing shots in Daylight as well as during night.
The A8+ has a dual front camera setup with a 16MP fixed focus sensor at f/1.9 and an 8MP sensor also with f/1.9, which can take amazing Selfie Portraits with several manual controls.
Other Features
The device has Dual sim support where nano sim can be inserted with a dedicated SD card slot. It is IP68 certified which insures dust and water resistance. It will also feature Samsung Pay, Samsung's own assistant Bixby and an Always On Display . The device has a rear mounted Fingerprint scanner below the camera lens. All the necessary sensors are available.
The Handset will be available on Amazon India exclusively from January 20 at a price of Rs.32, 990 along with some launch offers.
According to me, The Galaxy A8+ will give a tough competition to the One plus 5T .
