I bought Samsung RT60KZRSL refrigerator in Aug 2012 - since then almost every month we have had variety of issues
a. compressor failed - in the first year itself(I was told that its due to power fluctuations - and mind I live in Bangalore apartment with 100% power backup)
b. de frost does not work(this is frequent - every month)
c. cooling stops intermittently(this is frequent problem)
d. PCB failed(this happened recently)
every time, the main symptom is that cooling stops. you complain to the call center and it takes at least 4-5 calls and 2-3 days before an engineer visits your place. the service process is without sense of urgency. laid back. engineer simply does not care.
most of the time, engineer will suggest you that a part has failed and you have to pay 2-4k. Poor design, pathetic customer service. I am happy that now I have switched to Sony(for LED TV) and LG(for washing machine) and contemplating how to get rid of the fridge so I can buy a new fridge.
