Ya this camera is good for stills.Battery used should be of the very best quality and high power(rechargeable).Videos are very clear, but when you zoom then the voice in between gets muted.Also u can capture high quality video only when you have good space. My 2 GB card can record 38 min of video with best settings(640480, 25 fps) and 1 hour of videos with 2nd best settings(320240 25 fps).I recommend that u use Sanyo AA R6 eneloop rechargeable batteries for all ur cameras.I still recommend that u buy the next best camera after this, that has many features and costs 5800/-.
