Model: Corby without Keypad.

Got corby in Jan-10 for around 8K. I had earlier owned couple of Sony, benq & Samsung. Before buying had compared Nokia touch phone's at same cost and after two minutes of Nokia handling and I knew Nokia sucks.

This is my first touch phones so wouldn't blame my frustration of not having a physical keypad on corby but I wished Corby's touch pad was more sensitive. Over the past 8 months it has lost some of its touch feedback.

What I love about this Phone:

------------------------------------

  • It is almost indestructible. It has fallen almost 100times or more from my hand (fault of corby for being so slippery and my hands for not gripping it correctly) and yet its functioning all right. It falls, the battery comes out and I fix it again and it restarts.

The reasons could be that the phone is very light. It does not have physical keypad so weight is very less. Which is just amazing. Most of my earlier phones have died after falling from my hands. But Corby is just too good. (Hopefully it will not break after I post this review)

  • Even after so many falls the screen is scratch free.

  • It still allows me to send SMS and make calls. The basics works quite good and are very easy to use.

  • Screen is big enough for google maps, web browsing.

  • Battery life is good

What I don't like about this phone:

--------------------------------------------

  • Phone mic is not good. I would say this phone has worst mic of all the phones I had owned

  • Earphone's are not good

  • Wished it had more features like Samsung Monte.

  • Video playback just sucks
