Without proper research I bought a Samsung Corby Pro for some 9000 rupees...And now I know the risk in taking decisions without proper data to back it up...The handset is great in terms of features- a full touch screen and a slide qwerty...supports 3.5G..3.2 MP Camera.. Google, Facebook, Collins all inbuilt...
But its processor is too slow to support all these features and hence the performance is not at acceptable levels...Camera hasn't got a flash and the lens is not too good... picture quality I got with this was much worser than my older sony with a 2 MP Cam...Anyways I didn't buy it to snap around..so no issues...
But the biggest disappointment was the bug in messaging... the handset's messaging function got completely blocked and I cannot sent, receive or even read my older SMS... whn searched the Net this was a common bug in this model...Its shape is also not too good and it keeps slipping from our hands...
Samsung claims the battery to be having 500 mins of talk time and 500 hrs of stand by....But I had charge the battery twice a day everyday...I wrote to the Samsung Customer Satisfaction Team about my experience...
But the team proved to be belonging to the same family as that of my handset! they too didn't add anything positive to my satisfaction level with brand samsung....So based on my experience I would not recommend this handset to a friend...
And hope companies like samsung would go beyond just creating a team called Customer Satisfaction Team and do something solid and realistic to provide true customer delight...
