It was those days when u have worry about owen on maintaining them after buying them because the owens were way too expensive those days and were very delicate too.
But today its not the same as we speak. Any Owen we buy Last for 5 to 6 yrs max and then replace it with new one. I mean the Life of the owens are just about 5 to 6 yrs max. But it those 5 yrs of timeline, there is no professional maintenance require for the owen unlike the AC and cars!
But the owen last of 5 to 6 yrs only when some personal maintenance is done on them regularly.
Though I don't use Owen too much and only my mother uses it extensively, but I use the owen sometimes for basic heating and s o these are some of the maintenance is have done on my own and I have also watched my mom doing the maintenance on Owen and here are they -
1) When even u cook or fry any oily items on the the owen like Fish or Chicken, it better to clean the oil off after cooking . This applies for almost all other oil related Food.
2) Use the compatible and best Owen vessels for heating or cooking in the owen. This is improve the performance of the owen and will give great cooking results. This is also for safety of the owen.
3) Never keep the Owen close to Heat or Water Source . If the owen get splashed with water, clean it immediately.
4) Always switch off the Owen after use . This is protect the oven unit from power surge and so on.
5) After using the oven for cooking for over 30 minutes, it advisable to keep the oven door open for w while to let it cool off . This will improve the life of the oven and its parts.
6) Don't rough use the owen buttons and doors . U know why.! The Reason is same, for long lasting.!
7) If u happen to use Extensively, then it is always advisable to call the authorized personal for Maintenance for service ever 2 yrs once.
8) use the correct procedure for Cook on the Owen. It is Advisable to Read the Manual book thoroughly before using the oven for best Result.
9) Never keep/place any other Electrical appliance like Induction stove or Mixie right next to the owen because there are possibilities of malfunction due to this.
Overall, these above are some of the Owen Maintenance tip I have known, thou there a lot more which I May not know.
