Features:
Camera -2MP - Photo Pictures are very clear @ Day light only. Night time only Dark can capture
MP3- Sound is average, No more settings available more than Sound increase OR reduce
- Music displaywill be always same frequency.No change based on Music
Earpiece - OK not best, You can not adjust sound using ear piece also.
TouchScreen- Good, but No Need of touch screen, as all features can be used in keypad. Without opening the Key pad you can not touch and dial the calls/send/read SMS. Only after sliding up touch also will be enabled.
NO GPRS - Since CDMA sim is Main Slot and CDMA Operators not having GPRS. It will not be supported.No More Mobile Browsing. We can not use GSM card for GPRS/Wifi in this handset.
Video Capture- Video pictures can be viewable only in this handset, If we move it to PC, Most of Blur only will appear.
Speaker - Through Speaker phone can hear only low volume sound
Charging - Only in this phone you do not know charging is happening or Not. Only Charger Light will become Green once charge complete. No display in handset(Charging/Not charging)
Design&Style- No Themes are available.No GPS, No FM, No Flash, only 1 GB Expendable. Only 20MB Internal Memory, I dont know this slide type all phones connector Tip will go every 6 month. I have seen No. of handsets lying in service centre for same Connection tip problem. Need to spend 500-750 every 6 Month. For this model Not only connector tip all serviceable components will not be available mostly.
Ease of Use- Lot of shortcuts we can implement in the main screen my Menu, But for this Weight we can carry 2 handsets I think.
Sound Reception- Very Low sound reception, Lot of call Drops faced in the main city itself.
Reliability- We can not rely on this handset, Most of the time I was having the cell without any communication because of continuous hanging and Low battery problems.
Games-3D Golf is very boring game u can play. Most of us don't know how to play itself.
I bought Samsung SCH-W619 1 Year before. Only after one week my 14600?! Rs Phone starts working on 'his' way. Start sleeps and hangs when ever it wants. As I Bought in Hosur - Tamilnadu, I went to Hosur Samsung service center. Service person does not know how to open the handset also and taken my handset for Hanging problem without charger.
Once Handset hangs we needs to remove battery and need to restart. Some time it was starting first time else we need to try for the full day to start. After 15 days also there is no response from service center, they told they sent the set to Salem for service. After multiple follow-up I went to salem and asked the salem service person about the problem. He told we dont have relevant charger. So we can not check now, bring your charger to check the handset.Finally they solved the problem after taking my charger that time. Then after 3 Months Speaker is gone. I can not listen ring tone and speaker calls. Again I went to Hosur service centre. Service person told we dont have any speaker.It will come from salem will take time. But after some time there is no person for service for more than a month . now My cell is same condition without speaker sound agin one more problem is added GSM is not working only one sim slot is working.
My present list of problem is
1 One SIM Slot is working
2 MP3 Player is hanging
Photos can not be visible at Night(No Face or Objects in your photo). No themes. only one theme available.
I thought I can browse in handset.(But no options present)
Lot of Call lost problems(Difinitely I can not attend any telephonic interviews in this cell)
In middle I changed twice Slide connecting TIP for display problems(Within one year).
To hear MP3 I can hear local FM from my home radio that much clear for Rs14600 worth.(No Bass/Trible) no Equalizer adjustment only sound we can increase/decrease. Light display looks like my kid having phone will blink some lights(No light frequency changes based on sound).
8.Great Feature! is If I did not charge one day. Definitely tomorrow Morning My cell will be in Switched off.
Only Half of Battery in morning, Evening it will be switched off without getting/making any calls.
- Another Sound Reception I did not mention still. Definitely we can not speak anything on the way/ In road. You can not hear incoming voice(i.e 3 to 5 times u need to ask other person to repeat his/her words to hear). Other side person will hear only bus and road side sound instead of your voice.
10 . For 14600/- Rs. Ear Phoneyou can get SE phone within Rs.5000/- Models. But Sound Ordinary bass trible comparing to other ear phones.In Ear phone we can not adjust sound, We need to adjust in Phone keypad only all volume/Change songs.
For this much Costly mobile, There is no Wi-fi/GPRS available in this mobile.Only We can connect as CDMA modem to our Laptop using USB Port. PC Sync I purchased this fridge videocon vap 233; 230 l. Only because my father wanted a red colored one. It consumes huge amounts of power; on the fridge it says 671 units per year. This is a big draw back...r u listening mr. Dhoot? One more reason why i purchased this is because it is swadeshi stuff ( i am into this swadeshi thing I avoid purchasing foreign brands..now i intend to change my mind set) i am not satisfied with its power consumption. not working with any OS from the beginning. I tried Windows Server 2000, Windows XP.
For this phones Weight, you can carry 2 Phones in your pocket. that much weight-140Gm.
We can name this handset...No No. Rename Waste OR Full of PROBLEMS.
To buy this mobile you can go for any other cheaper mobiles(China /Spice) for lesser price. Definitely you will get some satisfaction. Now I am suggesting all of my friends and relatives to not go for Samsung products. As I have seen most of the Samsung products are in Service center only.
My Phone Age is 1 Year 6 Month. 6 Month fully my phone spent in service centre. But No satisfaction for the given money. Only satisfaction is service center person become friendly now with me. Finally I Bought set of problems for 14600/- from Samsung.
