Never buy samsung inverter ac. I bought in 2015. I agree that power consumption is less. electricity bill also less. But it worked for two years. Then its electronic board damaged within indoor unit. It cost 5000 rupees plus service charge. And my aluminium condenser broken up and gas leaked off. there is no warranty for gas leakage and customer have to pay 5000 rupees for gas filling.
There are 3 electronic boards in indoor unit, each costs 5000, 4000, 4500 rupees. Out door unit has one main electronic board which regulates compressor speed. it costs 15000 rupees. Warranty is only for one year for these items, 10 year warranty only on compressor, which wont damage usually. Its condenser is made up of aluminium. which will damage easily.
Aluminium work with oxygen to form aluminium oxide and holes may be created in the condenser. there is no warranty for gas leakage. Dont buy inverter ACs. Better. buy only normal type of Ac with COPPER condenser, Blue star is having 5 star normal AC with copper condender. Their service also good. Local AC technician can repair it, Not very costly also.
