Its not fot the first time in the history of Indian Cinema that one person is tortured by the media for the time he has been around. The true/better side quite often goes unnoticed and the kind of exposure the slightly worse side gets can very well turn a whole country against you.

As most of you might have guessed I am pointing right to the most bragging hero of Bollywood Salman Khan. He has suffered enough and thats more than itself. I bet anyone who is reading this. Including me. Dont you have two sides of life. One which is slightly bad which u know for yourself but cleverly keeps it hidden for the better options in the society, for the company of more polished elite gentlemen and for the challenge of showing up in this ocean of most distinguished personalities.

But if I decide I am gonna be what I am and not to go after false pretentions and to exhibit me as the one doing what seems right without being circumspect and use the most useless thing in my body called the BACKBONE, standing right in line with it and smash anyone who points wrong allegation against me or points finger at me or use me as a tool to pull down to get themselves up.. then you would call me a less popular Salman Khan.

Some can very well argue that its not the right approach while living in a society where all are busy claiming themselves to be fit for sale. But thats the way I am and nobody can do anything about it. It is quite easy to allege a person on the things he exhibit rather than understand a person, see the actions he does not for fame but for satisfaction and to follow him not to pull him down but to follow the good deeds and consider him as a human being with all the emotions, love, care and sentiments as atleast some of you might have in heart.

World knows only one Salman Khan, a brute, uncivilized, drunkard who destroyed the life of a ''Beauty Queen''. But all fails to understand the man behind.

As normal human beings do, just to curb the anger and show smiling faces at the person u feel like blasting and to do things just to stay intact, u can call urself normal passive human beings. But then I would say u have something which u can sell. A ''Backbone''. And he who smashes the one who tries to get his girl drunk (as was the case in a club in mumbai in 1992), I would call him a ''MAN''. I am sorry I cant call him a Brute.

If not supporting the media ''RAJ'' and expressing the views in its crude form are signs of uncivilization, then I am proud to say he is Uncivilized.

There is a fact that I can agree to, which u might take with great pleasure. Yes. What he did was a big mistake by driving drunk and claiming lives of 3 innocent people. But soon another episode comes to my mind. I remember having read such another news somewhere else. But I hardly remember it. Ofcourse I remember the news. It was an incident when a driver drunk to the max, killed 4 in a small tented house along the footpath of a mumbai street. But as I said, I dont remember the name of the driver, the car he was driving or any other details. But I am sure it was not on the front page of the newspaper but somewhere inside a small 1 column spaced news. I remember the driver was in the police custody and was released following a bail application.

You might have already understood what I am coming to. Just because such an accident happened to a star, the incident was blown out of proportion. The story of the lost families spread like fire. There were protest marches when he was granted bail and there was also a threat that his films will be boycotted!! Now can u give me an explanation. In the incident that happened years ago, the driver was released and there was nobody to follow him, there wasn't even a news reporter from the most selling daily to go and fetch the details of the dead. But here just because he is a star, can u say he is not a human being?

Finally I am of the opinion that his private life has been picturised a bit too cruelly by the media. Infact what they want is news and Salman has lots for them. They kept following him like they follow a rat and enlarged a small picture to look like a daemon. He has loved an lost. And I suppose many of us have. Some of us take it in the course of our life and move on, and for some who were involved a bit too much, it might seem a big hurdle in life and moving ahead seems a distant dream.

The usual heartbreaks and new finds are the most common things in the world today. There is nothing much to speculate on such matters. Its truly personal. If he goes drunk to his girlfriends house and bang the door and say ''I love you, I cant live without you, please dont leave me'', I must say he really loved her. And she who cant feel the real love dosent deserve to be called ''beautiful'' coz beauty comes from what is inside.

All these keeps happening maybe in your house or in your neighbourhood. But it has never been so long a story. It has ended within ur house or his house. But not here. He has been followed and followed not for the good of anyone but the media.

Its been some light in the end of the tunnel for Salman Khan, he has some good movies in his pouch and those which are in the que are worth it. Am happy that the country has not fallen back in recognising talent. Otherwise a person such attacked would have no longer lived in the Industry.

Trust me, he is not as bad as u think...
