The liability. Review on Salman Khan

The image of Bollywood is in itself not much transparent to the general Indians-pornography, casting couch, award event manipulations, personal scams, & add with these the huge public exchequer drained behind these stars in such a poor country like ours. The only reason Bollywood still survives is due to the acting talent & the public goodwill enjoyed by a very few actors & actresses. Having said these, I should say that people like Salman Khan further worsen Bollywood's image. He is in short, a liability of Bollywood.

Some people are of the opinion, that , personal life shouldn't matter to us. Assuming it to be true, let's judge him by his acting talent. Now my Question is, What has this guy done in his entire career?

Can we remember & isolate a single performance of his? (Haven't seen Tere Naam). HAHK was a hit sheerly due to Madhuri, HDDCS was a very ordinary film, in Andaz Apna Apna, he was completely overshadowed by Aamir. Believe me, this guy doesn't deserve the star status at all. He is a very very ordinary performer. Sheer luck has brought him here.

Now, on the personal front, controversies have gone hand in hand with him.

Whether they have been proved or not, I personally won't be surprised at all if they are true. It is what is expected from him. Without arguing whether we should matter about his personal life ( which has hardly remained personal these days), it should be decided whether such sort of a person should at all be allowed to remain a part of the entertainment industry, though I doubt whether the police will ever try to unravel his crimes.

Another thing which bewilders me is his affinity to work with taller heroines. Does he like to see himself dwarfed? Sushmita & Shilpa Shetty both are at least 4 inches taller than him. Raveena Tandon also towers over him by a couple of inches. Probably Karishma & Madhuri are also of same height, if not taller than him. I just can't make out , if he at all has to act, why doesn't he pair up with shorter heroines.

People like him are a blot on our entertainment industry, I hope you all will agree.
