So this place is located just right outside of goregaon east station. As soon as you get down from the bridge on goregaon east the billboard of Sai Veg world hits you. Just behind it is BBC but believe me you should visit this place once and you will never stop visiting.
This place is divided into two parts one is a stand and eat and the other one is dine in. In the stand and eat section which is at the front side, you usually get fast food like vada pav, samosa pav, raj kachori, dosas, pav bhaji and chole bhature among the few that I can remember. In the dine in secton you get a variety of food at your disposal. They also serve thali.
You have jain thali, regular thali and Chinese thali as well. A la’carte option is also available. However, we had tried their thali system. The regular thali is the cheapest at 130 bucks. While the Chinese thali and jain thali is for 150 bucks. I must admit all the thalis will satiate your palate. The sabji’s are enough for 2 people let alone one individual.
A minor correct, they have coined their thali as meal box. Whatever they call, the thali or meal box is very economical especially for what they offer. Roti’s, 2 sabji’s, of which one is a paneer preparation. Curd, rice and one choice of sweet. What else can you ask for. Ambiance is decent and service is pretty quick. I would recommend this place to everyone. Kudos to Sai Veg World.
