I had two experiences with saholic.com. the first one was very smooth and pleasant. I had ordered Spice mi-410 on the day it was launched as I liked the features of the phone. I ordered on a Friday afternoon and I was expecting the order to be delivered by Monday or Tuesday as normally we count out weekends. But to my surprise the phone got delivered the next day afternoon. The delivery was super fast.
This raised my expectations and I ordered another phone for my dad. This time I ordered Spice Mi-310. I had a bad experience with letsbuy as they cancelled the order saying that they have no stock. The price at letsbuy was cheaper so tried them first and after they failed to honour I placed the order at saholic.
I placed the order on a weekday and was expecting it the very next day( as happened with my first order).I wanted to gift this phone to my dad as he was about to leave for a pilgrimage in next few days. I was very disappointed that they took a complete week to deliver the order. The phone came just a day before my dad left and I could not teach him most of the functions of the phone in a single day.
They delivered within the prescribed time but what pissed me off was that their customer care which was totally non-existent.
No one will pickup your call or the number will be not reachable. Even when someone picks up the phone they will cut the call after saying hello. This happened more than 10 timesI would have called more than 50 times in that whole week. When asked about this they said that they were shifting their office and hence this problem.
Why should a customer be bothered about your shifting of office. If you are shifting your office you should inform the customer not to call or better not to place the order. After repeated calling and posting messages on their Facebook pages my phone got delivered.
Saholic claims next day delivery in most cities. If they couldnot deliver next day in chennai think about it in other cities.If you have patience you can test saholic. You will get your product but you need to have lot of patience with this site.
