I recently relocated to Bangalore from Coimbatore. I had chosen Sahara movers and packers because of the way the marketing guy spoke to us when they visited my house for giving the quotation. They came to our house at 10 am and completed packing and loading by 5.30 pm.
The packing and loading was good, no complaints about that. But only problem was I need to pay the complete money to them end of loading. I didnt foresee any problem as we are shifting for the first time and no prior experience. The truck reached Bangalore by 10 am the next morning to my Bangalore house. I started calling the local Sahara house and the response I got them was pathetic.Initially they said they will send their people in 2 hrs time, then started telling its possible only by 4 pm. And they stopped picking my call.
At 4pm, I went to their office to see that all the people (around 8-10) were working on loading for some client (generally 4-5 is enough for doing this work). When I asked them whats the problem, they started blaming us and started giving me lectures that this is Bangalore, things wont happen so fast here. I shouted them telling its their problem with planning and finally got 3 people to come in an auto with me. They didnt carry any tools. And I paid for their auto.Again the problem started with the 2 guys.
They just joined Sahara it seems and were so inexperienced, they didnt know how to carry the boxes. And they dropped my refridgerator. They just dropped all the items in my house. There was no unpacking / fitting. I paid for including all these services. When they were about to leave, they started asking me to give the signed copy of the items. I said NO strictly. And he asked me to speak to his higher official. I spoke to the concerned person and he was also not polite and started blaming us. I got so frustrated I told him.
I am gonna file a case against him. He started shouting again. I told him all the reasons and then he kept quiet. Please dont ever go for Sahara movers and Packers. Generally too, if you go for any movers/packers, please enquire more about unpacking and fitting.And please dont pay the entire money.
