Hello , Its exactly 10 months now I got rid of my Sagem MY3020 just used it for 6 months and got rid of it ! Well no prob with it just that people gave a strange look at us when we are out with it....For people who have not seen the MY3020 it looks like ''Shapers'' -with a anteena...i need not discuss what it is ! <see https://sagem.com and browse to the mobile to see the pic>.
Here are my comments on the MY3020.
I used a Red Color one with Blue Lights !
ok ..lemme start well the phone is cool no problems but the Buttons are a little tight we need to like push the buttons hard to get something working...also the BACKLIGHT on the keypad is very very very light in a dark area like a theatre its tought to type a message !
Oh man the most disgusting thing is the RIGNTONES ! Oh God ! Not normal mono phonic nor polyphonic its something in between . My friends used to call me ''ICE CREAM MAN ''when the rings rang on it ...it sounded like a ice cream man on the street corner is calling u !
The ringtones were also so LOW in volume and the only thing to reply on was the VIBRATOR ! the vibrator is also not that high amplituted like the nokia phones.
Good features include the nice screen and the energy saving mode . The battery life is also excellent and the stand by mode is really cool !
The main issue is personalisation we cant personalise the ringtones ...we cant add our own ringtones....<actually there is a melody composer but it gets very nasty composing one>....no picture messages support .
Overall I would rate the phone 5/10.
The higher end mobile of sagem like the mx5 are the real cool ones.
The only thing is the lack of support in India...if some problem comes in the phone we cannot do anything...also such foreign brands are less popular in India.
