============================

According to World Health organization safe limit of Omega 6/ Omega 3 ratio is 5-10%

Omega 6 sends inflammatory signals when our body needs to fight with infections. Omega 3 on the other hand sends anti-inflammatory signals.

Their balance is very important for our immune system to work properly.

A very high omega 6 to omega 3 ratio can screw up things and your body will over react in case of any small issue. This may lead to autoimmune response, cancer, Atherosclerosis(Arterial clogging in heart diseases) etc. So all diseases related to immune system over reaction will become more probable.

There is one more problem with polyunsaturated fats - Polyunsaturated fats are unstable and gets oxidized creating free radicals which can damage cells causing autoimmune diseases and cancers. Oxidation not only happens during high heating but it also happens inside our body so if you consume more PUFA then you need to consume more Lipophilic Anti-oxidants(Fat loving antioxidants like Vitamin E).

If you consume Suffola definitely your LDL will come down but that doesn't mean you are more healthy.

Not sure why medical establishments are so against saturated fats. We have evolved eating saturated fats and all traditional societies depended on saturated fats. In india Coconut oil and Ghee were commonly used. In other countries Lard(Pig fat) was mostly used for cooking.

In fact I am consuming ghee regularly and my BP, heart rate and cholesterol level are in normal range.

I am thinner as well.

There are lots of material in net. Can't provide all links. Please look for yourself.

Humans in pre historic times used to eat big animals which were high in saturated fat and meat was red. It is interesting to note that in some places big animals became extinct because of human arrival.

Ghee is rich in Vitamin A, Vitamin K2, Vitamin B12. There is no practical source of Vitamin B12 for vegetarians. The reason why most Indian girls have low hemoglobin level

Saturated fats are heat stable and a very efficient source of energy.
