Even after reading the reviews on this site I was foolish enough to try the service of "Safe packers and movers". I was moving and contacted at least 20 Ps and Movers. I also contacted Safe Packers and Movers and told them about their bad reputation and unfavorable reviews on this site. To this Mr. Surendra(+91 9811346055) said that the reviews on this site were for another P&M that too has the same name but operates out of Pune. He also mentioned that due to this other packer and mover he is losing business. On doing some checks I found out that there was some truth in his argument. Hence I decided to give avtar a chance only to realize later that it was a big mistake.
We had to send our car and goods as two different shipments. The car was picked up on time. We were told that it will arrive at the destination within 7 days. Even after 10 days when the car was not delivered, we called up Mr. Surendra and were surprised to hear that he never promised any delivery date! He then said that it will be delivered the next day. When it was not delivered the next day, we called him up again to hear the same thing that he never said it would be delivered. After some heated exchange of words he started threatening that he would come to our residence with some goons! When finally the car arrive it had been driven about 300 km and also had previously non-existent dents. On inquiring we were told by this gentleman that this is a usual thing! Even out household goods got delivered way later than the committed date. But by this time we had lost our energy and motivation to fight any more with him. During this whole time we had to stay is a hotel and do nothing but wait.
