Hyundai car service dealers are taking customtakeouters for a ride. Thanks to the service policies of Hyundai. I took my Hyundai i10 car for a normal servicing to Safdarjung Hyundai , Gurgaon. It is a well known fact that dealers draw up massive bills on servicing; most of the things are really not required in every car. But Safdarjung Hyundai was worst among the lot of hyundai dealers. They not only messed up with my car but also put me through lot of harassment. All because I had cross questioned the service advisor when he gave me an estimate of things to be done in servicing. I complained to Hyundai customtakeouter care(by phone and email) but no action was taken. Hyundai didnt get in touch with me. There is no way a customtakeouter can get in touch with Hyundai directly. In response to my complaint they send a standard mail containing few telephone numbers of Hyundai service heads. No one answers those numbers. So if u r unsatisfied by ur dealer that is ur problem. The company doesnt take any guarantee or responsibility of any of itz dealers.


I had bought the car in Nov 2007 and has run only 15000 kms till date. I didnt need fancy servicing and requested for normal servicing repeatedly to Safdarjung Hyundai , Gurgaon. Once service advisor realised he was unable to get high amount out of me, his attiMr_customtakeouter changed completely. He said couple of unpleasant things such as -' You have come for a engine oil change and that is what we will do; If you donot have money you can get oil change done only'. The car was given back to me only with engine oil change. Coolant change and top up of simple fluids like wiper was not done though I had asked them to do it. I was told by him this is what is done in normal servicing. I raised the issue to Safdarjung Hyundai and a mechanic visited my place to check my car. He checked the fluids and admitted that servicing was not done properly. A detailed check up was required to know what else has been done or not done to the car. He told he would get back to me. I didn't receive reply from Safdarjung Hyundai and lodged a complaint at customtakeouter care Complaint no 1-93286181. Same day, I spoke to GM service Safdurjung Hyundai Mr. Atul Sharma about the issue. Verbally, I was promised checkup of my car and action against the service advisor Ashok.On demanding a written statement for both things, it was refused. Next day, I got a mail from Safdarjung Hyundai asking me to get my car to service station for check up. I was told car will be checked and that is all what Safdarjung Hyundai will do.


You shouldn't t trust Safdarjung Hyundai for their service, attiMr_customtakeouter or verbal commitments. They are arrogant and mislead the customtakeouters. It seems Mr. Atul Sharma is running the service station as his personal service station. These kind of things seem to happen everyday and it seems are in knowledge or driven by Mr Sharma himself. How else can one explain that no action was taken against the service advisor who treated a customtakeouter badly. I got fed up of the way they are handling things. Hence, I asked for a refund of what I had paid to them. In response, the next day I got the same mail asking me to get my car to service station for check up. The issue is pending ever since.


I am a customtakeouter of Hyundai and not Safdurjung Hyundai , Gurgaon. I have requested the Hyundai customtakeouter care couple of times that I wish to speak to a Hyundai person but was told to write on cr@hmil.net . When I did I got reply back asking me to contact HMIL North 1 Regional Office Service Support Mr. Jaipal at 011-41678800. I tried the number couple of times but cldnt get through. I wrote back to customtakeouter care and got the same reply back.


Seems a nexus between Hyundai and service dealers. Nevertheless, would suggest hyundai car owners to pay whatever dealers asks for during servicing. If you were smart, u wldnt be standing with ur car keys in one hand and open wallet in another at Hyundai dealer workshops.
