Story:

Sack The CEO, is perhaps one of the best books on management and more importantly ?boss management? written by an Indian Author. It is a humorous account of working in an organization called Twist In The Tale (TITL), a manufacturer of Computer and Mouse components. This company is headed by Top Gun, the CEO? frankly a good-for-nothing character who got lucky.

The story revolves around Small Fry, Fast Track and Takeiteasy. The ?three musketeers? have personalities that are synonymous with their names. Small Fry is a hardworking bloke, who works tirelessly and meticulously but is always a wallflower. Fastrack is a bright ?MBA types? who is considered to smart, dynamic and ?has it in him? to be a leader. Takeiteasy, lacks ambition or drive and has been in the grind for years One incident in the professional lives of the ?Three Musketeers?, sets them on a journey of identifying different categories of CEOs, their traits, mannerisms, perils of their existence and consequences.

You will find names like Crony Capone, Parish Priest, Talk-the-Talk and Volte Face, each defining a kind of CEO. Crony Capone, for instance, has an addiction for his side-kicks and will do anything they tell him. All this, when his decisions are adversely affecting the stability of the company.

Parish Priest is a different kind of animal? really. He has his heart set on certain kinds of people in the organization ? people who are from his state, or who like the same things like he does or who speak his mother tongue. In the realm of each CEO, who is completely different for the other, the ?three Musketeers? analyse and realize the problems the organization faces. Situation in each case is anarchy, chaos, confusion and lack of direction.

And Finally? Small Fry decides to take on his own CEO, Top Gun. He gets all set to SACK THE CEO? Does he succeed? What are the repercussions? Do his friends help him? Read ?SACK THE CEO? to find out more.

Though the book is hilarious and written in lighter vein, the author, Jitendra Jain, has succeeded in driving home the message. The format of the book is uncomplicated and the language, simple and lucid.
