When India gets going, he also gets going, when India goes down, he also goes down, has he ever won any match single handily match like kapil dev’s 175* in world cup 1983 from 17 for 5 .At least I don’t recollect, some one please tell me.
In 1999 world cup he flopped, when he was required to bat well and India went out of contention for semi final.
Match fixing of course he is involved, he is considered best bat for India so without his involvement match cannot be fixed. Of course no proof.
He plays mostly for himself and records.
No doubt he is the best, but compare him to M. Bevan (aust) how many matches Bevan has won for aust, so many that you will loose count. Bevan has won one match I remember when aust was 30 for 6 against WI and needed 200 odd runs more, Bevan went on win match with last minute four straight drive. Has sachin even done, Let him win at least one match when India is down to dumps then I will say he is the man of our dreams.
