The speculation on the batting profile of Sachin Tendulkar has been going on for quite a while now and the result is for all to see.
The God HAS FAILED!! and miserably at that.
How else can one expect a so called world beater to play Bangladesh to redeem his pride and score records.
If in hindsight we see, then had Tendulkar not been dropped twice at a measly 28 and 47 then the double century that had become the toast of the team would not take place.
Other than the 143 against the Aussies I do not remember any real manly innings from him.
The Indian batting revolves around the dependable Rahul Dravid and only his innings can be accounted for a chunk of India's successes.
Moreover, Tendulkar is not a team player but a rather selfish one aiming to create his own records and filling his already full pockets with the green stuff.
Of recent times or let me put it this way- contemporaries of Tendulkar, greats can be limited to players like Brian Lara and Mathew Hayden to name just two.
Lara is incomparable and I know you all will accept this fact that he is a technically sound player. Also he plays for the country unlike Tendulkar. The 153 n.o is fool proof of this fact.
A small trivia about Sachin Tendulkar that really hurt a lot of sentiments was attached to the Marathi Film ''Swaas'' that was nominated for the Oscars.
To raise money important personalities like Amitabh Bachchan also donated generously.
But our ''good'' old Tendulkar instead of donating acts like a real smart a**e and decides to sell his bat and ball to raise money. What a pity for the richest sportsman in the country.
Next time something comes up, Tendulkar will then auction his undies and pop guard for the money raising part.
Not to forget the Ferrari episode where he literally begged to waver off the taxes.
Surely, The SO called GOD Sachin Tendulkar has failed--Ethically, Morally and Technically.
It is the right time for him to say Good bye rather than be kicked out in the near future.
