Sick of this @&*!#^@. Review on Sachin Tendulkar

Hey.. world of tendulkar's fans, don't look at me like that. It is not me who said this. It is Michael Kasprowicz, Australian fast bowler, who said it few years back in Sharjah. Is there any better compliment than this for this little master? If there is any, I couldn't remember.

I know there is nothing much left to say about this best batsman in the world but wanted to bring some light on to him again as he is not doing too well to his standards recently and giving too much work for his critics.

With more than 20,000 international runs behind, no words needed to explain his batting capabilities but people still can't resist praising him. Few of his Opponents think him as a nightmare (Warne) and few say he is demigod to Indians (Hayden). Everyone is wondering about his heavy bat and waving it around like it is a toothpick(Brett Lee). Fast bowlers are thinking about wearing helmet while bowling to him (Dennis Lilly). Even his competitors for world's best batsman crown feel proud of him (Lara). Is there any other player, other than mighty Bradman, got such adulation from opponents also?

He not only shows heroism with bat but takes ball and wins matches. He dares to bowl the last over and wins the match. He is always there for the captain to give useful breaks whenever team needs. He got more than 100 one day international wickets and 5-32 as his best bowling analysis he is inches far from being considered as an all-rounder.

Captain for two short stints, Tendulkar might not be the best captain but did a good job. Later has made it clear that he would prefer to concentrate on his batting. Not so glad to mention that Azhar, Jadeja and Mongia were main players of his team. How can we expect his team to win matches then?

Other than well visible batting and bowling skills, he got more to offer to the cricketing world. He is a perfect example of determination and dedication. He is a captain's player. He can give his favourite batting position to an upcoming batsman and can field from boundary positions. Keeping the silly ball tampering case aside, he is a a true gentleman on the ground. Neither sledges nor answers to them using words. Anyway his bat talks louder than his words.

He might have stopped keeping track of records he has been breaking. They seem to be breaking with every match he plays. With 102 tests, 300 ODIs, 20,043 international runs and 137 international wickets as on today, God only knows what his statistics will be when he calls it as his day.

So don't be bothered if he fails in a match or two. Just ask Olonga, Zimbabwe's fast bowler. He tells what Sachin does after a failure.
