What Imran Khan has done to Pakistani cricket is great...but Sachin is responsible for Bombay?s cricket in a big way..he never misses any ranji trophy match if hez available..he even plays small kanga league matches for his club in Bandra..he has encouraged many people in Bombay and if you go and ask any player at Shivaji Park..you will know how much time Sachin shares with them..even though hez busy..

About Sachin not being a matchwinner..the person you want is Michael Bevan..only he can do what people ''who say SAchin is not a matchwinner'' describe..and if you want 60 runs in 3 overs..you want a person like Lance Klusener..but if u want a person whose name if on the team can motivate the other 10 to win a match..you have Sachin Tendulkar...

If you want a person who can hit centuries and create a base where his team members can follow and win ..that person is Sachin Tendulkar

If you want a person who is very much involved in the game..even while fielding and bowling..that person is Sachin Tendulkar..he doesnt get a 100 and leave the game..hez almost always there..in the field..giving his very best..

This is what is called a matchwinning attitude :)

If Sachin cant be a bevan or a klusener...the whole of australian and southafrican teams cant match tendulkar and what you are really doing is taking the best qualities out of every player and saying sachin doesnt have them...

Well why don't u see..what qualities sachin has..which 99 % of other players dont have :D and thats why he's a great cricketer

Out of the 37 centuries of Sachin, India has won 28 times. If you can do the maths thats 3 out of 4 times. The last century was against Pakistan, where Sachin made 141 out of 135 balls. India was very close to victory when the end players screwed up...so is that Sachin's fault ? Do you want Sachin to make 200 runs out of the 300 runs in every match ?

And about the Ferrari...that was a gift from the company....and even if he doesn't want the car now suppose...he has to pay the duty to get it to india..or leave that gift in some other country.....I would say when indian govt knew he got it as a gift..the indian govt should have made the first move and offered another gift to him and told him...great..you can bring to india free..courtesy of the Indian goverment and not make him ASK for dutyfree so that the media can make fun of it.

See even bharat petroleum made special fuel for his ferrari..did he ask for it..NO..this is called respect :)

There are stupid ppl in media..who don't understand cricket and give write anything they want... tomorrow someone will say..why waste money on cricket..what purpose it serves..just spend money on hunger..why u need sports newayz ? why to pay cricketers so many lakhs for playing matches...and then waste electricity of millions of indians watching those matches ...just give all those money to charity..we dont need sports :P...this is also possible..we are a free speech country.

I know this coz I have read about him..but I know he's a nice person coz he went and told a person who was sticking his camera to the nets ( when he was practising at the Allan Border ground in Brisbane Queensland ) that please move a bit away from the nets....I can only hit on my legside..if there are ppl sticking to the nets...
