In fact it is really difficult to remember each and every moment that either lifted you up or made you down. Now I am in the deepest feeling of giving away a polite bow infront of James Erskine & crew, for gifting the whole world 'a book of inspiration' through an excellent docu-drama named SACHIN A BILLION DREAMS.Crossing decades of field plays, Cricket has always been a WOW factor in shaping favourite passions & hobbies of many people round the world. Out of the best performers, what could have been the elements which made SACHIN a unique icon till date? Yes, this movie is in a way a logical explanation to this question. Like it senses in the beginning of the movie, Bhaarathwaalom keliye Sachin sirf ek icon nahi, wo ek bhaavana hai! He is someone who has made tiresome efforts to travel through others' lives and words inorder to shape his own perceptions and ideologies to resolve the hurdles in his life, let it be physical or mental, it doesn't matter. The film sails slowly through present day Sachin's heart-touching recollection of his own life journey, wrapped with tons of pains, happiness, losses, sacrifices, achievements and motivations. James Erskine's direction has really threw away pieces of inspirations to the entire documentary genre & its disciples. In this era of commercial-theater made-feature films, this film stands out of the crowd, penetrating to the heart of cricket fans, via a judicious blend of on-time acting, memorial visuals, soothing narrations & fine-cut profilic conversations.One can never neglect the truth that Sachin has got the fortune to be on crease with three big generations ( being one of Gavaskar's time, second being Ganguly's time & third being Dhoni n Kohli's time) . It is unbelievable to watch how beautifully the movie has rendered a perfect analysis of Sachin's personal & official life, Indian team's good times with Sachin, leading upto Sachin's retirement. Anyone who has atleast a drop of love and virtue in heart will surely fall into tears while this super man shares how he tackled some painful situations. Yes, this work is a real and beautiful THANK YOU LETTER to our dearest Cricket God Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar- for the memories he gave us on and off the crease, for the model character he showed to every cricket player, for the noble son, husband & father he was to his family.I have one personal request to all those movie goers out there-please don't enter the theatre with the thought of watching a film made for Sachin fans; instead please do watch it, thinking that this is a work about an individual who holds a place so big in billions of people's heart & this is the tale of how a person can be of humble inpirations to whoever he meets! I really wish to meet this epic personality one day. And I really miss those moments when I screamed at my home Sachin Sachin.
